The first national conference on displaced persons opened here yesterday at the Hotel Stevens under the auspices of the Displaced P####ons Commission. Members of various state DP commissions are attending the sess#### to discuss resettlement problems of DP immigrants arriving in the United States. T### parley will close tomorrow.
Among the representatives of voluntary aid agencies participating in the ####ley are William Rosenwald, honorary president of the United Service for New Ameri####, who is a member of the New York State commission; Joseph E. Beck, its executive ###ctor, and Miss Ann Potluck, director of the U.S.N.A. migration department. The #### is represented at the parley by Samuel A. Telsey, president; Maurice Eigen, ##cutive assistant, and William Males, chief consultant.
