July 26, 1934
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

The local Jewish community has been invited to join with the Catholic and Protestant elements in a church preference survey of the entire community to be made in September. In order to make the movement as far reaching as possible, it was decided that all religious organizations in the community be asked to join in the canvass, with the sole purpose of determining the church preference of each family. It is announced that the survey will be followed by a community-wide “go-to-church or synagogue” month
