Fallen Israeli soldiers who are not considered Jewish can be buried in the Jewish section of military cemeteries. The new directive, ordered by Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, came after Lt. German Rozhkov, a Russian immigrant soldier killed in a clash with terrorists, was buried in the non-Jewish section of a military cemetery.
