An anti-Jewish demonstration organized by French, fascist students is reported here today to have taken place in Nice, on the Riviere.
Carrying signs “Long Live Laval – Death to the Jews,” approximately 300 students marched through the streets of Nice shouting anti-Semitic and anti-British slogans. They encountered a number of Frenchmen opposing the Laval regime and the clash between the two groups resulted in a general riot. Order was restored after special police units succeeded in dispersing the crowds.
