Geheimrat Felix Deutsch, once an office boy and now the president of the General Electricity Company, brother-in-law of Otto H. Kahn, was felicitated yesterday by leading statesmen of Germany on the occasion of his seventieth birthday.
In messages addressed to the septuagenarian, von Hindenburg, Chancellor Marx and Foreign Minister Stressemann, extolled the creative accomplishments of Mr. Deutsch, who was responsible for introducing into Germany American business methods and led the General Electricity Company to success. Mr. Deutsch is the son of a Jewish cantor of Breslau.
