It was ascertained by the J.T.A. today that Dr. William Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews, is safe and has not been arrested, contrary to dispatches published abroad. (The German news agency reported on Nov. 17 that Dr. Filderman would be brought before a Bucharest tribunal on charges of violating currency regulations.)
