Nineteen students, who were accused of leading attacks upon the Jews during last November’s serious disturbances, and who were fined between fifty and twenty zlotys, have appealed against this light verdict.

The court which heard the appeal has now further reduced the fines, which in the original verdict were considered the lowest possible under the law.
