Finnish President Passikivi received Israel Minister Dr. Abraham Nissan today. The Israel diplomat congratulated the President on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
Dr. Nissan also presented to the President a Bible in Hebrew and English, with a special parchment binding, which was a gift of President Ben Zvi. Dr. Nissan told President Passikivi that the gift was not only personal but was also meant to express the deep sympathy of the Israel people for the Finnish people.
