Fire Causes Heavy Damage in Jewish City in Poland

Fire today partly destroyed five streets in the densely populated Jewish city of Slonim in the Nowogrodek district. The blaze was still in progress tonight, bringing fire brigades from Baranowicze and Wolkowysk. The streets which bore the brunt of the fire were Glucha, Dluga, Zwirki, Viezenna and Pilsudski.
