The first boarding school in Israel for American students will be opened shortly near Safed, it was announced here today. The school will be housed in a set of buildings on a campus situated atop historic Mt. Canaan. Mr. Louis J. Schwefel, prominent American Zionist now residing in Israel, has arrived in this country to complete preparations in connection with the opening of the school.
