First Dentists Graduate from Hebrew University; Ten Receive Degrees

Prominent leaders in dental surgery from the United States and other countries today attended the commencement exercises of the first graduating class in dentistry at the Hebrew University here. Ten graduates received degrees of doctor of dental medicine.

Among the Americans present were Dr. Irving Zucker, heading a delegation from the Epsilon Delta dental fraternity, and Dr. D. Dyan, president of Alpha Omega, heading a group of 75 dentists from his fraternity. Immediately after the commencement exercises, the several hundred dentists and dental surgeons from various parts of the world, who came here for the ceremonies, opened a two-day Scientific Conference on Dentistry at the Hebrew University.
