The American and Canadian-owned Supersol Company opened today the first supermarket in Jerusalem. A Supersol supermarket exists in Tel Aviv.
The new supermarket is located in a new building in the well-to-do residential Rehavia section. It is a highly modern operation even* by American standards, Betram Loeb of Canada, who attended the opening, said four more Supersol stores would be opened soon, to in Tel Aviv, one in Haifa and one in a Jerusalem suburb.
