Sami Cohen, Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent in Turkey, was named today on the Republican People’s party list for the general elections October 15 for a new Parliament.

Mr. Cohen is one of five Jewish candidates for Parliament in the elections. Dr. Isaac D. Taranto is the second Jewish candidate of the Republican People’s party.

The newly established Justice party has offered two Jewish candidates, Leon Alauf, a businessman, and Isaac Chiprut, an attorney. The fifth Jewish candidate is another attorney, Eliya Bahar, for the New Turkey party.
