Denial of a report that anti Semitic notices had been posted in Ford plants in Detroit was contained in a telegram to the Cleveland Jewish Review and Observer replying to the weekly’s wired query on the subject. The telegram, signed “Office of Henry Ford,” said: “There is no truth whatever in report mentioned telegram 9th.” The New York newspaper PM had reported the presence of anti Jewish posters at Ford plants.
