Foreign donations to the Palestinian Authority must be monitored to ensure they’re not used for terrorism, Ariel Sharon said. The Israeli prime minister met Thursday with Lt. Gen. William Ward, a U.S. envoy sent by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to help implement a cease-fire the Israeli prime minister declared with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas earlier this month.
