Foreign Minister Miguel Moreno announced at an Israel Independence Day celebration here that Adolfo Arias, Panama’s Ambassador to the Vatican, will shortly be appointed Minister to Israel. He also said that plans were under way to elevate Panama’s Legation in Israel to Embassy status.
