Joseph Steinberg, for nine years a member of the State Assembly, died here on Sunday at the age of fifty-one, succumbing to an illness of three weeks.
His record as Assemblyman was commended by the Citizens Union. He is survived by his widow and a sister, Mrs. Rose Jacobs.
