Fridrich Karl Vialon, former State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Aid, has been charged with perjury and is expected to be put on trial. Vialon swore under oath during a Nazi trial that he knew nothing of the killing of Jews. It has since been discovered that he gave orders to assemble Jews from ghettos and concentration camps. Vialon is today a professor at the University of Saarbruecken.
