Former citizens of Croatia who lost property seized by the Communist government between May 15, 1945, and June 25, 1991, may file restitution claims through Jan. 5. This includes Jews who emigrated after the war, according to the Claims Conference. Claims can be submitted to the nearest Croatian embassy.
