Former Gestapo General in Stettin Gets Five-year Jail Term for Mistreatment of Jews

Former police chief and Gestapo general in the city of Stettin, Fritz Karl Engel, was sentenced to five years imprisonment by a Flensburg court today. He was found guilty of crimes against humanity and of illtreatment of Jewish prisoners in the Bredow concentration camp, of which he was commandant.
