Former Israeli Cabinet minister Yitzhak Mordechai went on trial on charges of sexually harassing three women over the course of eight years. Mordechai has denied the allegations against him. At the opening of the session, the court rejected the defense’s request to strike some of the charges on the grounds that the statute of limitations had expired.
