Former U.S. presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman gave a graduation speech at a Jewish day school in New Orleans. “You celebrate today your own history and your connection to the long history of the Jewish people,” the Democratic senator from Connecticut told the 10 graduating eighth-graders on Sunday at the New Orleans Jewish Day School, according to the Times-Picayune newspaper.
