Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger received honorary citizenship from the German town that he and his family fled when the Nazis were in power. Germany’s foreign minister, Klaus Kinkel, joined the mayor of the town of Fuerth in honoring Kissinger’s contributions as a diplomat. Kissinger, 74, described the ceremony as a “very emotional experience.”
