Four of Seven Persons Injured in Jerusalem Raids Still Hospitalized; Others Discharged

Four of the seven persons injured in two enemy air raids carried out yesterday against Jerusalem were still hospitalized today, while the other three were discharged after receiving first aid treatment.

An Israeli spokesman revealed today that “Israeli naval units participated with marked success in Negev operations against enemy shore installations, while the general action in the Negev is continuing.” Commenting on the bombing of Jerusalem ‘ yesterday, the government spokesman said: “Judging from the direction from which the plane came and the direction in which it escaped, the plane was almost certainly Egyptian, and not even the Egyptians can bomb Jerusalem with impunity.
