Four reels of movies showing Hitler during World War II surfaced in the Tennessee home of a former U.S. army sergeant. Herbert St. Goar found 12 cans of the movies, which were shot by Hitler’s personal pilot, in Germany after the war. He turned most of the reels over to the U.S. government, but sent four to his home, where they ended up forgotten in his basement. The movies, which show Hitler’s travels around Europe and include the only known color footage of him, are now being made available to German researchers.
