France’s Foreign Ministry established a toll-free phone number to collect donations for northern Israelis. France will use the money to help rebuild schools, health facilities and retirement centers damaged during Israel’s monthlong war with Hezbollah. Sammy Ghozlan, who is heading up an emergency relief committee to help Israelis affected by the violence, applauded the ministry’s efforts.
