Franz Werfel, German Jewish author who was reported captured and executed by the Nazis in France is safe in Marseille it was learned here today. His publishers some weeks ago signed a sponsorship affidavit to have him admitted to the United States. Among Werfel’s better known books is “The Forty Days of Musa Dagh.”
