French appeals courts will appoint special prosecuting judges to follow up on cases dealing with racism and anti-Semitism. Speaking Wednesday in Paris before the opening session of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists’ conference on terrorism, racism and anti-Semitism, Justice Minister Dominique Perben said he intended to put magistrates in each appeals court to coordinate the battle against racism and anti-Semitism.
