French Government Honors Sylvan Gotshal

The award of the Legion of Honor, with the rank of officer, was conferred last night upon Sylvan Gotshal, New York Jewish leader, for his efforts in establishing harmonious relations between the United States and France. The award was presented to Mr. Gotshal by Roger Seydoux, French Consul General, at a reception at the home of M. Seydoux.
