French Govt. Denies Receipt of British Appeal to Disembark Jews at Le Havre

A Foreign Office spokesman denied today any knowledge of a British appeal to Premier Paul Ramadier to allow the Exodus refugees to disembark at Le Havre. He added that since the French Government did not know of ##y such appeal, it was impossible for Ramadier to have rejected it, as was asserted ## reports from London.
