French Jewish leaders slammed a French broadcasting authority decision to allow satellite transmission of a Hezbollah TV channel. A French court had ordered the Lebanese-based Al-Manar channel to re-submit its application for broadcasting rights after the channel transmitted a virulently anti-Semitic TV series in November 2003 based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Last week, however, the authority said Al-Manar could continue broadcasting.
