French Leaders Urge Removal of Olympics from Berlin

A resolution asking the French Parliament to reject requests for funds enabling French participation in the Olympics was adopted here at a meeting of noted sportsmen and political leaders.

The meeting, with Senator Justin Godart presiding, voiced its opposition to France playing a role in the Games at Berlin and urged that they removed to another site. Speakers included Levi Oulman, president of the newly formed Amis des Sports and Jean Bernard Levy, president of the Paris Racing Club.
