The French occupation authorities in Germany are presently drafting legislation to indemnify victims of Nazism for damage resulting from deportation, imprisonment, confiscation or loss of property or employment and from the imposition of special taxes, it was learned here today.

The Laws in each of the three provinces constituting the French zone will vary somewhat, and they will not be similar to these promulgated in the American areas. All claims will have to be filed by May, 1951.
