High French officials today told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that there is little danger of the Arabs in North Africa joining their co##gionists in the Middle East in any holy war against the Jews.The situation in North Africa is currently under discussion in Paris and Pre## Paul Ramadier has met with ?ves Chataigneau, Governor of Algeria; Jean Mons, ##ident General in Tunisia; and General Alphonse Juin, Resident General in Morocco.
The officials questioned by the JTA asserted that anti-Jewish sentiment among Arabs has decreased considerably since the majority of Algerian Arabs were grant the right, which European Jews resident in Algeria had had for more than 50 years, ##er the Cremieux Law to apply for French citizenship.
