The annual conference of the Association of French Rabbis opened here today.
The conference will formulate the attitude of the French rabbis toward the Kehillahs and toward the question of accepting into the Jewish faith apostates who desire to return to the fold. The agenda also includes the question of foreign Jews resident in France.
On the eve of the opening of the conference a banquet was given in celebration of the seventieth birthday of Dr. Israel Levi, Grand Rabbi of France.
