French Royalist Sentenced for Murder Threat

A sentence of one month in prison and a 200 Franc ($5) fine was imposed today on Joseph Delest, responsible editor of the Royalist Action Francaise, for reproducing a line from the Communist song, “International,” saying “our bullets will be for our own generals” and replacing the word “generals” with the names of Leon Blum, Socialist leader, Paul Reynaud, Minister of Finance, and Georges Mandel, Minister of Colonies.
