All Tel Aviv yesterday attended the funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Straus Mossenson, who died on Saturday after a short illness. Apoplexy was given as the cause of her death.
Mrs. Mossenson came here from America in 1919. She was editor of the English section of Davar, and was secretary of the Palestine Hadassah. In bygone years Mrs. Mossenson was manager of the American Zionist Commonwealth.
At the funeral services eulogies were delivered by Dr. B. Z. Mossenson, Miss Henrietta Szold and M. Shertok, secretary of the political department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
