Gen. Wesley Clark promised to bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians if elected president. Speaking last Friday at a pancake breakfast in Hanover, N.H., Clark accused President Bush of showing a lack of leadership in mediating between Israelis and Palestinians. “I’ll be there, I’ll have my representatives there and we will bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians — and that’s a promise,” Clark said.
