Major General Haim Laskov, Chief of the Israel Port Authority and former Army Chief of Staff, arrived in New York today to take part in the State of Israel Bond drive. He will tour more than a dozen cities in behalf of the drive.
On June 5, General Laskov will be the principal speaker at a luncheon opening the Mid-Year Conference of the board of governors of the Israel Bond Organization at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, which will pay tribute to Prime Minister Levi Eshkol of Israel. Mr. Eshkol will address the Israel bond conference at a dinner session on Saturday evening, June 6.
