The Argentine General Zionist party withdrew from the Zionist national organization over differences concerning the distribution of delegates for the next World Zionist Congress, it was announced here today.
The resolution of withdrawal was approved at an assembly of the General Zionists which rejected the Zionist Organization’s proposal to redistribute mandates for delegates. This distribution would have meant one delegate less than formerly despite the fact that the total mandates for this World Zionist Congress are 20 compared with 17 for the last Congress.
