“Gentleman’s Agreement” has been voted the best Picture of 1947 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts. The film, which deals with the problem of social anti-Semitism in the United States, was based on the novel of the same name by Laura z. Hobson. The movie was produced by Darry 1 F. Zanuck.
