German and Austrian hospitals are providing free artificial joints to more than 100 Nazi-era slave laborers. Since the project was launched in June, 112 patients from Eastern and Central Europe have been admitted to German hospitals, according to The Associated Press, which cited a doctor at an orthopedic clinic in the eastern city of Magdeburg.
