The Gestapo, Nazi secret police, today ordered that all offices of the German Anthropological Society throughout Germany be closed because the society allegedly is “inclined to maintain international relations with Jews.”

The Danziger Echo, only Jewish weekly publication in the Free City of Danzig, was today forbidden to be circulated or sold anywhere in the Reich as an anti-Nazi publication. Several editors of the paper have recently been deported from Danzig for having published anti-Nazi articles.
