Dr. K. Erich Rombach, acting West German Consul in Detroit, issued a categorical denial here today of a report published in Parade Magazine, a national weekly newspaper supplement, that Israel-made Uzi submachine guns purchased by West Germany had been sold to the Sudan and eventually found their way to Egypt.

Dr. Rombach branded the Parade report as “incorrect” after he queried the Bonn Government on the matter in response to an inquiry by the Detroit Jewish News, an Anglo-Jewish weekly.
