The twenty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Hilfsverein der Deutscher Juden, the relief organization of German Jewry, will be celebrated here in May.
In connection with this anniversary, the organization will issue a report of its activities up to the end of the war.
It appears from a preliminary report that the organization has expended 47,000,000 marks for relief of Jewish distressed and for education of the Jewish youth in the East European countries and in the Orient.
The same leaders who organized the Hilfsverein are still at its head: Herr James Simon, president, Dr. Paul Nathan, vice-president and Eugene Landau.
