Germany, the mother country of Reform Judaism, will be represented at the International Conference of Liberal Jews to be held in London on July 10th to 12th by Rabbi Dr. Seligman and Herr Heinrich Stern, and probably by Rabbi Dr. Baeck, Dr. Wiener, Prof. Elbogen, Julius Blau and others.

The “Juedisch – Liberale Zeitung” speaks of the International Conference as an event of great importance. It refers particularly to the opportunity of meeting the American liberals who are also Zionists. “It will be interesting for us Germans to meet a Zionism which is reformist in the religious sphere and which in the national sense is as 100 per cent American as the German liberal Jews are German,” the paper states.
