Germany should make recompense to individual Jews whom she injured but should pay the billion and a half dollars claimed by Israel in reparations into a fund for resettlement of Palestine Arab refugees, the weekly magazine, Truth, which is known for its anti-Jewish bias, proposed here today.
The paper says that the Israeli claim is justified, but since Jewish refugees were resettled in Palestine “obviously at the expense of the Arabs whose entire country was stolen for Jewish settlement, ” reparations should go for rehabilitation of the dispossessed Arabs.
