SEVERAL HUNDRED GERMAN-JEWISH CHILDREN WERE DEPRIVED OF A SCHEDULED SUMMER HOLIDAY TRIP TODAY BY ACTION OF THE GESTAPO (GERMAN SECRET POLICE).

THE GESTAPO BANNED VISAS TO THE CHILDREN TO SPEND THEIR HOLIDAY IN LITHUANIA. AS A RESULT, ONLY NINETEEN CHILDREN FROM KOENIGSBERG ARRIVED IN LITHUANIA OUT OF SEVERAL HUNDRED EXPECTED HERE.
