Chiefly to provide for Nazi victims from Germany who emigrated during the Nazi epoch and now return for permanent settlement to this country, the budget committee of the Hesse legislature has voted to make available $2,100,000 above the appropriation originally established for the current fiscal year. Such “returnees” are entitled to certain payments under the Amendment to the Federal Indemnification Law enacted in June.
