Germans Seized for Synagogue Arson in Bessarabia

Bucharest dispatches reported today the arrest of several Germans on charges of setting fire to a synagogue in Acizi, Southern Bessarabia. The dispatches said that the Rumanian police had impressed upon the German minority in the province the Government’s determination not to tolerate persecution of Jews.
